Here are some of my latest sketches. The first is a tattoo design for a friend based on a drawing she saw in a magazine, the second is of a friend who came round and got sketched whether he liked it or not, and the third is the train I take home from town. I sketched it then cleaned up using a blue pitt brush pen which is nice because you can vary the width of the stroke. Here I used it to define the depth in the image. I think the technique worked well and I can't wait to use it again, possibly with a more complicated subject (though having said that, the train environment has some great shapes and lines in it). Hey paul, loving the sketches, especially the train one, almost looks like a layout for an animation cool style. Have you seen persepolis? reminds me of that a little. Also love the sketch of the woman on the sofa from the previous post. Hope your good man....
