I wanted to try this exercise. Its my first attempt at a character lifting weight in 3D. Let me know what you think! The model is the Alfred rig and was animated in Maya 6.5.
wow man you've improved so much!the walk below is wonderful as well, really great chracter in it.i think you could refine the weight one i little bit. maybe make it slower when he's begining to lift after his little breaks, it might give it a bit more of a pop when he lifts it to where he wants it. i think it will make it looks heavryer. but i do think it looks heavy anyway, you've done a great job with both of them.
Hmmm, this is a difficult one, some parts it looks heavy and others it looks light, I watched it over and over again. I think the first part looks light because of how slow it comes down when he is crouched. When you lifts the second time the weight seems cool. Maybe a little slower. The third push seems spot on. The part where he's breathing the weight seems really light again, Maybe he should breath without the weight moving so much.
